Meet Our Instructors
Magdalena is our wonderful owner and her experience in yoga has sent her around the world, including Rishikesh, India, Chiang Mai, Thailand, and now home (Clarksville, TN). She is a RYT 200hr plus continuing education in Bhakti Yoga, Kirtan, and Mantra Meditation. She continues studying as often as she can and continues her mentorship with Amy Barnes. You will hear her say "a true yoga teacher makes a great student." In her class you can expect a sense of healing and rest, along with support with proper alignment of the body.
Audrey is currently teaching the styles of heated and unheated Vinyasa, Prenatal, and Restorative. In her classes you can expect to have the mind and body both challenged and relaxed. She has an upbeat style, always connecting the breath with movement. As a teacher, it is her intention to provide students with the tools that get them through the greatest challenges, stay present to fully embrace beautiful moments, acknowledge their strengths and love their weaknesses - both on and off the mat.
As now a military spouse and gaining experience in Intelligence and Neuroscience, she quickly realized how much the community should be exposed to the great dimensions of the yoga practice. Since completing her 200RYT training in March of 2017, she has dedicated her life to teaching and sharing her knowledge of the way the mind and body work together for the soul.

An eternal yoga student, regional yoga teacher, Connected Warriors, Inc. volunteer, mother of 2. Felicia finds herself these days creating balance between home life, self practice, and teaching. She believes that yoga should be practiced in a way that serves the individual and supports the individual's life. In her class, you can expect intelligent sequencing that works both gross and subtle bodies through her a holistic teaching method along with verbal and non verbal adjusting and assisting. As a diligent mentor, Felicia excels in tailoring her private and mentoring sessions to her student's needs and provides support between visits.
Felicia holds an ERYT200, RYT500 and YACEP through Yoga Alliance. Teaching since 2008 she has accumulated over 4,000 hours of teaching and training hours combined.

"Aerial silks instructor Taylor has been teaching since 2014. Getting her start in Nashville as an aerial instructor and performer, she has started two successful aerial programs. When based out of Nashville she taught at several locations on multiple aerial apparatuses. She also performed with local aerial troupes as a traveling aerialist. When life brought her to Clarksville, she started a brand new aerial program at Austin Peay State University. The program was the first of its kind in Clarksville and within the college community. She now brings her talents to Shangri- La to help build a community of self-empowerment. Her classes focus on creating basic foundational skills while having fun. Knowing classes can seem intimidating and impossible at first, she provides an encouraging atmosphere for students to go on their own journey. She is available for private lessons and private silks parties
Maegan Harvey is an aerial silks instructor who began her aerial practice in 2015. She started instructing classes in the spring of 2017, and took over the program offered at Austin Peay State University shortly after that. She has been instructing since then. Her classes focus on improving strength and flexibility. She is excited to bring her talents to Shangri-La Day Spa to offer a new class that is fun, challenging, and rewarding.

Hatha Vinyasa with Magdalena
Every Thursday- 9:30-10:45am
This All Levels Class will take you through an intuitive sequence that may include particular Namaskars or Salutations, asana, pranayama technique and mantra. This class is sequenced a particular way to allow the practitioner to experience hatha yoga concepts and techniques to refine the body and its pancha koshas, or five sheaths of the self. Each class will vary upon the teacher and the student's needs.
Aerial Foundations with Taylor
Every Thursday 6:00-7:00pm
Begin your journey with basic skills and knowledge with this class. The instructor will walk you through the beginning steps with techniques and tips that will provide you with a safe but thrilling workout. The class will contain: a warm up
Aerial Conditioning with Maegan
Every Wednesday- 6:00-7:00pm
Fast track your aerial journey by attending this workout class. The class is meant to be paired with the foundations and tricks classes, however no prior knowledge is required. This class will focus on building strength, flexibility, endurance and personal growth. Be prepared to burn some calories and sweat it out.
Aerial Silks and Tricks with Maegan
Every Monday - 5:30-6:30pm
This class is a step up from our foundations class. While learning tricks, you will focus on knowledge building, combining moves, and movement flow. This class will also offer partner spotting techniques.
