Join Cynthia Gayman and Felicia Mason each month for a chance to explore Yogic Concepts as a group. Satsang is discussion based but can include some movement with asana, pranayama and concentration techniques relevant to the topic at hand that is appropriate for all levels and backgrounds.
In May we will be exploring the concept of the Ego or Ahamkara. We will discuss the different layers of the ego and how they affect us on and off the mat. Using the tools of movement, breath work, and concentration techniques we will explore the mental mindframe and how we relate to ourselves as well as in the world around us. Discussion will also include how to diminish the ego through overcoming desire, discernment and practice.
This satsang will include movement so please come with appropriate clothes on and you may want to bring water.
